“Women, if the soul of the nation is to be saved, I believe that you need to become the soul.” - Coretta Scott King
Women have constantly faced push back, friction and skepticism from men, each other and other external forces. They have existed in a state of war on the metaphorical “battlefield” since man and woman came to be. From suffering the most from poverty, tending to children more than men, unequal reproductive rights, etc, equal rights for both genders have been at constant flux rather than stable.
What if women are tired of being on the battlefield that exists on Earth? They no longer want to fight. They want to enjoy the universe that has been created for them, love themselves and love everyone around them. This fantasy/sci-fi film idealizes women as beautiful creatures out of this world enjoying their feminine beauty. The world around them has become beautiful, just like their souls. Space is their new battlefield.
