The Backstory

Bloom began as a ten-week exploration of type design at Cooper Type and grew into four months of drawing, testing, and refining every curve, counter, width, and space.

Rooted in historical Roman letterforms and influenced by nature’s organic shapes, the typeface balances strength and elegance with softness and play. Each character was designed to feel distinctive on its own while belonging to a cohesive and expressive family.
