Making Impact Tangible

Reports demands transparency and detail, but those same qualities can easily veer into dense corporate jargon. To honor the weight of the material, we set out to build a visually captivating storytelling experience that felt authentic to BUCK’s culture and 20-year evolution.

The (Un)Finished Story

The final report became a living record of BUCK's history, learnings, and the work still ahead. Across 50+ illustrations and 12 animations, we translated complex topics into approachable chapters, balancing clarity with emotion within one connected story.

Shaping the Report

Created alongside BUCK’s B Corp certification, The Shape of Change brought together 18 months of research, strategy, storytelling, design, illustration, animation, and web design. The report looked candidly at how the studio had evolved for its people, its environmental impact, and the wider creative industry.

I art directed and illustrated the full experience, developing nearly 50 illustrations and 12 animations to make the story approachable, cohesive, and unmistakably BUCK.

The Visual World

Using shape and light as both a metaphor for change and the logic behind the visual system, a modular language of illustration, form, data visualization, typography, and motion seamlessly balanced the story of BUCK with informative rigor.
